BioHello, I'm Gina and I'm the artist behind Rose Thistle Artworks.I live with my family way out in the country on a high point of the eastern plains in beautiful Colorado, USA. The creatures that share our farm and the surrounding wildlife such as deer, elk, raccoons, coyotes, and turkeys inspire my artwork. Rose Thistle Ranch is home to horses, dogs, cats, chickens, sheep and llamas. I use the wools from our own loved llamas and sheep in my needlefelt creations as much as possible. But, I do buy cleaned fiber rovings from alpaca, llama and other sheep ranches, too. Personalized and custom pet portrait needlefelted sculptures are my favorite creations. I am very inspired by the love our pet families bring into our lives. I like to create sturdy needlefelt art that will honor that love and bring joy for years and years.
