Bio   Hi there...My name is Kerry and I've been sculpting with roving for about 4 years now. I get a lot of inspiration from natural history and try to make my sculptures as realistic as possible. Of course there are a few sculptures which come from fairy tales, dreams and my imagination and I'm always on the hunt for something new. I love to see the sculpture emerge from the raw roving and take shape as color and detail are added. I love the fact that I can pretty much do my felting anywhere without any power or large, bulky tools and I also love the connection to a natural material such as roving. There's nothing like finding little bits of grass or a tiny seed head in the wool and smelling the sweet, earthy smell of lanolin while I'm working.
